Kurt Gutman
Financial Advisor
Kurt and his wife, Carrie, grew up in Fort Wayne. They have three children and attend St Paul’s Lutheran Church in downtown Fort Wayne. Kurt and his wife are graduates of Concordia Lutheran High School. He has a Bachelor of Science from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs from Indiana University. Kurt began his career in financial services in 2000, and holds the Chartered Wealth Advisor designation from Michigan State University, NASD® Series 7, 9, 10 and 66 designations, as well as Life/Health and Property/Casualty Insurance Licenses. He has worked for over the last 10 years as a financial advisor guiding individuals and institutions through their budgetary process and portfolio management.
Kurt is active in the community. He gives his time to the following organizations.

Jerry Lencke
Financial Advisor
Jerry is a Lafayette native, born in Kentucky, moving to Lafayette as a teen in 1973. Jerry met his high school sweetheart, Darla, in 1975 and married in 1983. They both are graduates of Purdue University, West Lafayette. Jerry’s BS degree in management & Supervision with emphasis in economic monetary analysis earned him a great deal of respect in the business world. He joined Smith Barney in 1998 and built his book of business literally from the ground up. While at Smith Barney, he secured his series 7, series 65, series 63 licenses, and certified financial planning specialist designation. He also secured his licenses in life insurance, annuities and long term care.
Jerry’s responsibilities include working with Institutions and individuals who demand excellence in financial planning techniques, investment management, and retirement planning. Special emphasis on asset allocation and investment policy statements earns him a great deal of integrity with his clientele.
Jerry has been an Indiana State certified Firefighter and EMT since 1987. This hobby allows him to “give back” to the community in which he lives with his family. He has been happily married to wife since 1983 and enjoys his two children, Jared (1988) and Keri (1990).
His career with Smith Barney prospered as he worked in their downtown Ft Wayne location. Accomplishments include:

During the recession of 2008, Smith Barney merged with Morgan Stanley and closed several offices, including Ft Wayne. Jerry took advantage of this timing and struck a relationship with Compass Financial Advisors, making a bold move to become independent. His Assistant, Debbie Marden made the move as well, sealing a great move for the team.
Jerry also serves on various Boards, including the Finance Committee of his church. His style of service has helped him win several long-term relationships with institutions and individuals.
