Chris Swanson

Christopher J. Swanson is a Portfolio Manager and Financial Advisor. He was born in Fort Wayne in 1959. He began his career with William C. Roney & Co. in Fort Wayne in 1983. Prior to Roney & Co. Chris completed a two summer internship with a large mid-west money management firm in Saginaw, Michigan. Chris finished studies at Indiana University in Bloomington in 1981 with a degree in finance and consistent recognition on the Dean’s List. Chris went on and received a degree in Economics from the University of South Florida in 1983.
Chris joined Gregory & Zent in 1990, became a shareholder in 1992 when his name was added to the firm name. Chris ascended to President of Gregory, Zent & Swanson, Inc. and merged the firm into Compass Financial Advisors in November 2012. Chris is involved in portfolio management, investment consulting and retail brokerage services.
